PORTLAND/WARPED TOUR HANGS (photo diary) || 8/13+14

Portland never fails to be weird - but don't be fooled. The word "weird" is never to be confused with negative connotation. But I swear to it, there is always something different in the water every single time I visit. Dancing juice/potions/spells/whatever. I'm sure that's what it was this time around because I quite literally could. not. stop. dancing. How it is possible to shake ya booty to The Story So Far? Great question, but it was done and it was done proud.
Here is some photo evidence (in case you need it):
Ask for the full video and you shall receive... Or you can just take me out dancing and see it in person. You choose.
We ended up showing up 3 hours late because we stopped for Jack In The Box and spent too long dancing to Usher (as usual). These were taken at 7 pm and at the very last set of Warped 2016 -- feeling dead, but only internally (haha). Body was still kickin' it.

The heat started to get to me after a whole lot of walking around. We sat for a bit so I could get my head not feeling like it was going to explode/like I was going to faint/get heat stroke or whatever else.
Actually.... All I came to Warped tour for was to hunt down whoever has that damn Kyle Mooney sports jacket I talk about 24/7. Also, a boy came up to me and told me I was "the most beautiful girl at Warped Tour" and then was crowned queen of the emos. Another random man placed a box of donuts beside us and walked away...... I almost ate them.
1 of the 9824879 of these taken..... goodbye phone storage. RIP. |
Everyone on earth knows that I'm not really one for the beach, hell, Warped tour was iffy for me - but if it comes around, why not? We headed out about 3 hours out from Portland and to Rockaway Beach... with a stop at the Tillamook cheese factory (of course).
We spent a little while in Seattle eating pho and Piroshkis (which you need to try if you are ever in the area..)
Some sunset pics that can be traced back to Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams on repeat and my feet up on the dashboard. Typical.
It was all good fun. From seeing Wocka Flocka Flame to eating pizza naked. Big thanks for Pat for everything -- you rule so hard, always.
Keep it weird, Portland. I'll be back for you likely sooner than I think I will be.. as always..
