My interests fluctuate so frequently I can hardly keep up with myself sometimes (I'm about half joking, haha). I know the month isn't over just yet, but I figured I'd share a few of my favourites early -- for no reason. Just because! August reminds me of a lot of things and in short, is when I start to feel summer winding down. This upcoming month is about to be the start of something new, yet simultaneously the end of something (but I'll save that 'something' for many, many long and wordy entries to come...).

Has this hat ever not been on my head since I got it? No. Quite literally no. It's become a part of me.  I actually haven't left the house without it. It shields the sun well and is also a big 'fuck you' to Donald Trump! I like that. I need not say any further. LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE EMOS.

I finished #GIRLBOSS in TWO hours and one sitting - no joke. I can't emphasize enough how much this book has changed my outlook on how I treat others and how I handle myself -- professionally and personally. Think of it as a little lesson on how to play to your strengths and be the best, most productive 'you' possible. Reading Sophia Amoruso's journey from a petty thieving teenager to a multimillion dollar CEO (all without a single loan, WOAH) has solidified my belief in the saying "anything is possible"... because really, it is. If you bust your ass for what you want and are genuinely kind to people along the way, you will go far and maybe even further than you expected. Alright, time to start doing great things with my life.

Makeup Forever foundation has always been my go to foundation and feels so light when put on. My skin tone is a perfect mix of one pump each of NC20 and NC40. PLEASE do not forget to wear setting spray if you are going to be out in pure sunlight and sweating for hours with this foundation or any foundation in general - take it from me, please.

It's no secret or surprise that I absolutely love Neyo, like just as much as I love spaghetti. I'll be honest and say that I loved Kanye's older flow a lot more as opposed to his newer stuff - just me? That's cool. TOPSHOP FEBRUARY BIRTHSTONE NECKLACE

I'm not usually a big fan of jewelry but I swooped this cute little necklace for $9.99 from the sale section (duhhhh). It's lightweight and not your typical annoying, clinking, noisemaking necklace (which is probably why I avoid most necklaces...). Plus, the girl who rang me up at the till said her sister was a "fan" (ironically not a 'fan' of that word) of our youtube videos. Score.

DENIM MINI SKIRT

This skirt was thrifted for $2. TWO DOLLARS, can you believe it?! I'll admit -- it sat in my closet for a good while and collected dust until I actually wore it this month. It's got a 90's esque kind of feel with the whole all around denim and the side slit. I'll say it once and many, many times more.. Thrift store are so worth scouring through. Trust me.

Also - I don't want to jinx myself, but how's this for getting back into the swing with the whole blogging thing? I don't remember the last time I content planned this much! I'm starting of feel all kinds of passion coming back into this project. Passion mixed with a lot of time on my hands. It's kind of exciting. Hope you stay tuned and dig whatever else is up ahead.
