I encourage you to write.

I had a few words written in my notebook/planner this week as a self-reminder and it sparked a little inspiration.

"WRITE WRITE WRITE. This is a good week to do so. You'll want to remember."

Let's keep this short and sweet, really... The main point being - you won't regret it.

Write it all down, I urge you. You'll want to remember how you felt in a moment when it is long gone. Write when images are still clear to you, when the thought becoming foreign hasn't touched base. Maybe it won't be a habitual thing - and that's completely okay, but maybe it will be for some. Putting aside 10 minutes a day to write, religiously, doesn't always have to be a bad thing. Some people like their structure. It's how things get done.

Amy Winehouse once said - "I write songs because I'm fucked in the head and need to get something good out of something bad."

Write on days when you have something to say, write on others when words cannot be forced to leave your mouth, but would rather escape through a pen on paper. On either occasion, you'll find contrast in the pieces you write. I find that writing on a personal level is the easiest when I have a source of inspiration. Really, it could be anything. I write about strangers, the trees outside my bedroom window, even the people closest to me - they just don't know it. The most reoccurring topics are dreams. I'm in love with the psyche and its ability to story-tell from an unconscious narration.

It always fills my mind that time can't/won't be stopped. I enjoy the challenge of making it last somehow...

I like to write it all down.
