Let's face it. My hair is too long for many people's liking. Recently, one of my best friends has even told me that my hair is "too long". And for the record, I don't think I've ever grown it out this long; it reaches a little over my hipbones. For a girl who's mother is a hair stylist/makeup artist, I've never really been too adventurous with my locks.. Though I'd like to be.







How long did it take for you to grow your hair this long?
The last time I got a haircut before this one was probably spring of 2013. It was close to halfway down my side and has grown over my hipbones now.

Where do you get your hair cut/done?
As I've said, my mom does hair. Pretty cool advantage.

Is your hair naturally straight?
Surprisingly, I get this question a lot. Yes! My hair is naturally straight.

What is your hair routine like on a daily basis?
I usually wash my hair at night before I go to bed, full shampoo and condition. If I feel like it or if I have extra time, I'll curl it sometimes.. but most days I don't even brush it, to be completely honest with y'all!

How do you curl your hair + what curling iron do you use?
I use the Kadori 25 mm curling wand (the exact one here) and it is my absolute favourite. I usually curl at 420F with day old hair, meaning I shower the night before I curl. My clean/post-shower hair is so slippery and silky in texture, it can be quite annoying to deal with.

What products do you use for your hair? / What are your favourites?
I don't really use many, but because of my mom, she has a lot of Moroccan Oil products hanging around the house that smell so good. The shampoo + conditioner smell like heaven.

After curing my hair I usually tousle it with hairspray to give some texture.

I don't use these ones too often but I really do like them - Kevin Murphy's Hair Resort Spray (that smells just like coconut!) + KMS Hair Play Sea Salt Spray (this one smells like grapes). Both give such awesome beach textured hair and also smell nice.




Here are a few styles/colours I've been heavily considering + crushing on lately. I'm getting bored of my hair and I've been getting the "cut your hair" comment a lot from my family and friends. The other day at the mall, my elastic got heavily knotted into my hair to the point where my dad had to rip it out for me. It wasn't fun and I pretended like it never happened (even though the people walking past were staring at me).
