Sunset Blvd/Hollywood Adventures (OOTD) || A WEEK OF CALIFORNIA

10:47:00 PM

Sunset Boulevard + the hollywood area is a place we never seem to shy away from on California trips. I love the distracting street art and being able to people watch. We spent late afternoon driving around the city and stepping out to go into Amoeba. One of the employees at the record store said he admired my outfit and said my style was "incredible". I didn't really take it as much because I was wearing a basic mono-coloured outfit with a jacket that looked like it was made of my hair.

I finally had the chance to buy American Candy on vinyl because they don't sell them anywhere in Canada. What better thing to do than pose with it, right? Surprisingly, wearing a turtleneck in California didn't have me melting. It was colder than back home!

One of the cooler aspects to having it on vinyl is the interchangeable album covers! I'm so freaking excited about that! I'll share it on another post sometime. It's pretty cool and I sent tons of pictures to my friends, freaking out via text.

These sick shades are from The Technicolors (if you haven't already checked them out, click here.) I love how 8123 always puts out the most fashionable, yet affordable clothing + accessories.

Kat Von D's High Voltage tattoo shop, we found out while driving, is also really close around the area. I watched the show when I was younger and thought it was the coolest thing ever to finally see the shop in person. The mural of Kat was cool but the real Kat Von D is the coolest.

Obviously, a tourist trip around Hollywood isn't really a real trip if you don't visit the walk of fame. Earlier last year, the New Kids On The Block got inducted into the walk and we had the chance to see it. The skies were so blue above us and everything was gorgeous.
